Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Press Brake Operator for a permanent position in Castle Donington. The role focuses on operating press brake machinery, reading engineering drawings and job instructions, and delivering precise components in a busy manufacturing setting.

Training will be provided, with opportunities for overtime and a favourable finish on Fridays. The ideal candidate will have some experience with press brakes, strong attention to detail, and a hands-on, production-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sometimes set press brake machinery to produce components to the required specification
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work cards and job instructions
• Carry out basic quality checks throughout the production process
• Ensure tooling and machinery are used correctly and kept in good working condition
• Complete production and quality records accurately
• Report any machine faults, defects or quality issues to the relevant team members
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with 5S standards

You will be responsible for operating press brake machinery, working from engineering drawings and job instructions to produce components to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical, production-based work and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent results. Previous experience with press brakes and working from engineering drawings would be beneficial.
