Hariley Solutions West Midlands is seeking a Press Brake Operative for a long-term manufacturing role in the Stafford area. The position offers 4 on/4 off shifts from 06:00 to 18:00 with an immediate start.

You will operate and set Press Brake machinery, align tooling, and ensure parts meet exact specifications. Applicants should have proven Press Brake or sheet metal fabrication experience, strong mechanical understanding, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press Brake machinery to form sheet metal parts.

• Read engineering drawings and follow specifications.
• Produce components accurately and consistently.
• Perform quality checks during production.
• Identify and report quality issues.
• Maintain tooling and equipment in good condition.
• Keep the work area clean and organised.
• Follow health and safety procedures.

Press Brake Operative - £13.65-£16.26 per hour

4 on / 4 off | 06:00-18:00 | Immediate start

We are recruiting an experienced Press Brake Operative for a long-term manufacturing opportunity. This is a 4 on / 4 off role working 06:00-18:00, with pay from £13.65-£16.26 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is available at premium rates.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating and setting Press Brake machinery to accurately bend and form sheet metal components.

• Operating Press Brake machinery
• Setting and adjusting machinery for production
• Setting and changing tooling
• Manually folding sheet metal up to 10mm thick and 4 metres wide
• Working from engineering drawings, specifications and measurements
• Producing components accurately and consistently
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production
• Identifying and reporting quality issues
• Maintaining tooling and equipment
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Following health and safety procedures

About You

We are looking for candidates with previous Press Brake or sheet metal fabrication experience.

You should have:

• Proven experience operating Press Brake machinery
• Good knowledge of tooling and metalworking processes
• Strong mechanical understanding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work accurately to measurements and specificationsGood attention to detail
