Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The role involves collaborating with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, and other stakeholders. The goal is to improve Dahua’s business performance, reputation, and ensure sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide product pre-sales promotion, including introducing new features to channel customers, assisting in product selection, and supporting sales targets.
- Define and manage a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy.
- Provide product training to technical engineers of channel customers to enhance their technical knowledge.
- Gather product feedback from customers, contribute to continuous improvement, and communicate insights to the product management team.
- Assist customers in preparing tender documents and participate in tenders to meet standards.
- Support business partners like distributors and resellers in brand promotion through promotional materials and participation in trade shows and open days.
- Offer technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with R&D and third-party companies.
- Maintain communication with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues to ensure timely problem resolution.
Key Attributes:
- Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm, access control, video conference, VMS, cloud storage, video wall, network, and industrial drone products.
- Ability to work independently and set clear strategic directions.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, with influence and organizational buy-in capabilities.
- Proficiency in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Quick learner of new technologies.
