Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The Pre-Sales Engineer will engage with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, to enhance Dahua's business performance, reputation, and ensure sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide product pre-sales promotion, including introducing new product features to channel customers, assisting customers in product selection, and collaborating with sales staff to achieve sales targets.
- Define and manage a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy, balancing delivery and value.
- Provide product training to technical engineers within our channel network to improve their technical knowledge.
- Gather product feedback from customers, contribute to technological process improvements, and communicate feedback to the product management team.
- Assist customers in preparing tender documents and participate in tenders to meet standards. Support business partners such as distributors and resellers in brand promotion activities like trade shows, Tech Day, and Open Day.
- Offer technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, respond to technical issues, collaborate with R&D on troubleshooting, and assist with third-party integrations.
- Maintain effective communication with headquarters regarding new product lines and technical issues to ensure timely problem resolution.
Key Attributes:
- Experience managing multiple products and projects with proper prioritization.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, video/audio matrices, networks, and industrial drones.
- Ability to work independently, set clear strategic directions, and influence stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to inform decisions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Quick learner of new technologies.
