Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Matchday Restaurant Manager to lead premium hospitality experiences at Coventry Building Society Arena. You will oversee restaurant operations on matchdays and events, ensuring guest satisfaction and high standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit, train and motivate a team, manage stock, cash handling and EPOS operations, and uphold food safety and licensing requirements across busy events such as football matches and concerts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising in busy restaurant, hospitality, events or premium service environments.
• Strong leadership to inspire and develop teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building to create memorable guest experiences.
• Organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Knowledge of EPOS systems, stock control, cash handling and daily operations.
• Understanding of food safety, health & safety and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operation of a hospitality restaurant during matchdays and events, ensuring seamless service.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with high service standards and hospitality.
• Recruit, brief, train, motivate and support team members.
• Manage restaurant performance during service, including floor operations, guest enquiries and complaints, staffing levels and coordination with kitchen and bar teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing, food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Support stock management, cash handling, EPOS systems and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Hospitality and Food & Beverage teams to deliver premium dining experiences and drive improvements.
