Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team in the South West Water framework. Based in Exeter with travel across the region, you will guide pre-construction from concept through to handover when construction begins.

You will coordinate design, estimating, planning, procurement and risk, ensuring buildable, compliant, and commercially robust solutions. A strong client and stakeholder focus is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven project-management experience in construction or infrastructure, especially pre-construction.
• Experience leading multiple projects across varying size and complexity (£2m–£50m+).
• Strong coordination of multidisciplinary teams, consultants and supply-chain partners.
• Knowledge of design management, estimating, planning, procurement, commercial principles and risk control.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-construction of allocated projects from brief to handover.
• Develop and maintain execution plans, programmes, forecasts and risk/change logs.
• Lead client and stakeholder engagement and chair gateway meetings.
• Coordinate input from design, estimating, planning, procurement, digital engineering, sustainability and supply-chain.
• Drive commercial control and handover of complete project information to delivery teams.
