Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller - Setter/Operator in Bilston to join a precision engineering team. The role involves setting and operating Mazak CNC mills with Mazatrol, modifying programs as needed, and delivering high-precision components for defence and aviation.

You'll set up machines, adjust offsets, tool changes, and verify quality with inspection gear, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and contributing to continuous improvement and production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating Mazak CNC machines.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol controls and basic program modification.
• Skilled in offsets, tooling changes and inspection equipment usage.
• Defence or aviation components experience preferred.
• Attention to detail, quality and consistency; reliable and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC milling machines.
• Adjust offsets, change inserts, and perform tooling changes.
• Modify programs to meet specifications.
• Use inspection equipment to verify quality and precision.
• Produce components for high-precision industries including defence and aviation.
• Maintain clean, organised work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support production targets and continuous improvement.
