HR GO Recruitment is seeking experienced CNC Setter/Operators for a busy Aerospace Precision Engineering company in the UK. You will set up and run jobs to tight tolerances on Mazak (Mazatrol) or Fanuc controls, using precision measuring equipment with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Programming experience is a bonus but not essential; the role is permanent with salary dependent on experience. You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Setter/Operator in turning or milling in a precision environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances with micrometers and verniers.
• Proven capability to set tooling, offsets and workholding for first-off and in-process checks.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC lathes or mills to produce precision components as per drawings and specs.
• Tooling, offsets and workholding setup; prove out and run jobs efficiently.
• Make in-process adjustments to maintain tolerance and surface finish requirements.
• Complete first-off, in-process and final inspections with measuring equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot tooling/machining issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
