Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant in Basingstoke to support tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions for prospective and existing customers. You will act as the technical expert within the sales process, translate requirements into effective solutions, and help win new business.

You will deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, conduct discovery meetings, prepare proposals and supporting documentation, and collaborate with sales and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consultant, or similar role.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, Microsoft solutions, networking, or cybersecurity.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand IT and cybersecurity requirements.
• Conduct discovery meetings and gather technical and business information.
• Design and recommend appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution overviews.
• Produce proposals, quotations, and supporting technical documentation.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop customer solutions and secure new business opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of current technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
• Liaise with technical delivery teams to ensure solutions can be successfully implemented.
