Job summary

Hager Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pre-Post-Sales Support - Technician to join the Sales team in a permanent role. You will report to the Team Leader and base at the Telford office, supporting projects across the UK and guiding customers from specification through to commissioning.

You will combine hands-on field engineering with technical consultancy, collaborating with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes and exceptional customer

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent electrical experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Full UK driving licence and a valid ECS Card for working on customer sites.
• Experience working in a site environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for customer projects across the UK, including commissioning, testing and fault diagnosis.
• Act as technical advisor to customers, feeding back insights to shape product and service improvements.
• Deliver remote technical support for Hager's electrical product portfolio and guide solution selection.
• Collaborate with sales teams, contractors, consultants, and customers on specifications and design.
• Maintain and grow technical expertise in Hager products, standards, and new technologies through training.
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to build technical capability across the organisation.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to ongoing product and service enhancements.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive, solution-oriented service.
