Job summary

Rough Hay Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic practice nurse to join our team for 18.5 hours per week, based near the centre of Darlaston and serving around 4,000 patients. Qualifications

• Registered nurse with UK NMC registration.
• Good English and maths skills (Grade A-C or equivalent).
• Phlebotomy and cytology experience.
• Willingness to perform immunisations, ECGs and health checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECGs and long-term condition reviews.
• Carry out cytology and phlebotomy.
• Provide wound care and remove sutures/staples as needed.
• Deliver travel health advice and immunisations.
• Conduct hypertension reviews and spirometry.
• Perform peak flow, ear syringing, urinalysis.
• Support NHS Health Checks and new patient checks.
• Contribute to contraception management.
