Job summary

Londonwide LMCs Ltd. is recruiting a Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations, policy governance and strategic development of the practice in London. The role requires coordinating HR, IT, information governance and patient services to ensure seamless delivery of care and contract compliance.

You will drive service improvements, manage budgets and procurement, and build strong links with NHSE, ICB, local practices, and community organisations to support QOF targets and enhanced services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice and ensure staff meet their responsibilities.
• Coordinate and update practice policies and procedures.
• Market the practice to raise visibility and patient engagement.
• Manage procurement of equipment, supplies and services for the practice.
• Ensure NHSE contract requirements are met and complied with.
• Support partners to develop processes to meet QOF and enhanced services targets.
• Contribute to profit improvement by identifying income opportunities and cost-saving measures.
• Develop and control practice budgets and financial systems.
• Liaise with NHSE, ICB and payment agencies on payments and contracts.
• Plan and implement Practice Development Plan and engage with local networks.
• Oversee HR duties including recruitment, employment contracts and DBS checks.
• Ensure information governance, data protection and IT systems are compliant and effective.
• Provide leadership for patient services and ensure strong appointment systems and patient access.
• Maintain the Premises and Equipment portfolio and manage property relations.
• Ensure CQC readiness and ongoing compliance across the practice.
• Lead risk management as SIRO and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative multi-disciplinary primary health care team.
