Staff Partners is seeking an experienced Practice Manager for a busy GP/primary care setting in Knightsbridge, London. The role includes overseeing daily operations, leading the administration and reception teams, managing rotas and recruitment, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

The successful candidate will drive service delivery, staff development and compliance across the practice, while working closely with GPs and clinicians in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Practice Manager to join a well-established healthcare practice in Knightsbridge, London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager who is confident overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy practice, managing staff and ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
• Manage, support and motivate the practice administration and reception teams
• Manage staff rotas, annual leave, recruitment and performance
• Support staff training, development and appraisals
• Ensure practice policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
• Monitor compliance, health & safety and risk management
• Assist with financial and budget management
• Manage patient concerns and complaints appropriately
• Work closely with GPs, clinicians and the wider practice team
• Support clinical governance and quality improvement
• Ensure confidentiality, GDPR and data protection requirements are maintained
• Identify opportunities to improve practice processes and patient services

About You

• Previous Practice Manager experience within a GP/primary care setting
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience managing a multidisciplinary practice team
• Good understanding of healthcare compliance and governance
• Experience with HR, recruitment and staff development
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• A professional, proactive and patient-focused approach

Experience with SystmOne, EMIS or other GP clinical systems is essential.
