Job summary

Dental Beauty Partners is seeking an experienced Practice Manager for our Kingston (KT1) mixed dental practice. The role leads a dedicated team and reports to the Partner, with a strong focus on patient safety, service quality and practice performance.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and supportive head office functions. You will drive income targets, manage the P&L, ensure CQC compliance, and develop staff through training and appraisals.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience as a Dental Practice Manager in private or mixed practice.
• Commercially savvy with ownership of P&L accounts.
• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver patient experience.
• Dentally software experience preferred but not essential.
• Ensure CQC and other compliance requirements are met.
• Experience in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

Dental Beauty Partners are excited to be opening a search for an experienced Practice Manager to join our highly reputable mixed dental practice, Dental Beauty Kingstin. This is a great opportunity to lead a dedicated practice team, led by our experienced Partner, Dr. Sorabh Patel

Dental Beauty Kingstonis an award-winning practice located in the beautiful town of Kingston-Upon-Thames, offering a wide range of mixed general, cosmetic & aesthetic dentistry. Recently acquired earlier this year, the practice has undergone a rebrand & major refresh, and has a fantastic reputation already (4.9/5 google rating). You will receive a great deal of support from our head office functions & operational teams from day one in the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of your dental practice - with a focus on patient safety at all times
• Ensuring the provision of excellent service to patients, quality of service, cost and delivery of performance in line with company strategy, targets and mission statement
• Providing support and direction to the team to enhance performance, skills and knowledge
• Plan & driving income targets for the practice, along with ensuring performance in line with profit & loss targets - a commercial focus is key for the role
• Monitoring & leading on KPI reviews, P&L calls & supporting clinicians to achieve Private/NHS practice targets
• Dealing promptly with any issues when they arise along with the support of our head office functions
• Deliver staff training and development, hold 1-1's with all team members, performance managing

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• We are ideally looking for a candidate with 1-2 years prior experience as a Dental Practice Manager, within a private or mixed practice
• We are also also be open to considering applicants with prior management experience in other sectors such as healthcare, retail & hospitality, with a willingness to dive into Dentistry and learn all about the industry
• Must be commercially savvy, taking ownership of the practices P&L accounts, understanding areas for development & improvement
• Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring all are working in harmony to deliver a fantastic patient experience
• Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
• Ensuring CQC & other compliance requirements are met at all times
• Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
