Job summary

mydentist in Ashington is seeking a Practice Manager for a full-time role (40 hours per week) in a busy, 8-surgery training practice offering NHS and private treatments.

You will lead a large, supportive team, drive performance against financial targets, manage budgets and ensure regulatory compliance. The network backs your decisions and supports career development across practices.

Qualifications

• A people focused manager who is able to support and develop teams.
• Experience with managing budgets and working towards targets.
• As this is a training practice clinical knowledge would be extremely beneficial

Responsibilities

• Driving practice performance with set objectives, including outstanding patient care, meeting financial targets, and managing budgets.
• Leading a team of practice support staff and liaising with self-employed clinicians while you manage contractual relationships
• Managing compliance and meeting the requirements of regulators
• Interpreting financial data including profit and loss to inform commercial decisions

You’ll be joining us at our Ashington practice on a full time basis - 40 hours per week.

Your future in the Ashington practice:

• Busy 8 Surgery Training Practice.

• Offering a variety of NHS and Private treatments.

• Managing a large, friendly and supportive team

• This is a training practice for New and Overseas dentists and Therapists as well as Dental Nurses from the NHS Dental Hospital.

• On site parking, close to public transport routes and local amenities.

• Leading a team of practice support employees, including dental nurses and receptionists, and engaging with self-employed clinicians whilst you manage the contractual relationship
