Job summary

mydentist Ashington is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a busy 8-surgery training practice, overseeing a large, friendly team and a 40-hour week schedule. You will drive performance, maintain high patient care standards and manage budgets in a supportive environment.

The role offers NHS and Private treatments, on-site parking and a strong emphasis on development within a caring and inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-discipline teams in a healthcare setting.
• Strong numeracy and ability to interpret financial data and budgets.
• Knowledge of NHS/private dentistry operations is beneficial.

Your future, your schedule: You'll be joining us at our Ashington practice on a full time basis - 40 hours per week. Your future in the Ashington practice: Busy 8 Surgery Training Practice. Offering a variety of NHS and Private treatments. Managing a large, friendly and supportive team. This is a training practice for New and Overseas dentists and Therapists as well as Dental Nurses from the NHS Dental Hospital. On site parking, close to public transport routes and local amenities.

Your future, your role

• Driving your practice’s performance with set objectives, including providing outstanding patient care, meeting financial targets, and managing budgets
• Leading a team of practice support employees, including dental nurses and receptionists, and engaging with self-employed clinicians whilst you manage the contractual relationship
• Managing compliance and meeting the requirements of our regulators
• Interpreting financial data including profit and loss accounts to make commercial decisions

Skills and Experience

• As this is a training practice clinical knowledge would be extremely beneficial
• A people focused manager who is able to support and develop teams
• Experience with managing budgets and working towards targets
