Job summary

Reliance High-Tech in Greater London is recruiting a remotely supported engineering professional to provide specialist security system services. Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent experience (4+ years).
• Experience with access control, CCTV, intercom and intruder systems.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft technologies.
• Familiar with Lenel OnGuard access control software.
• Understanding TCP/IP and network fundamentals.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Remote engineering support to field engineers, including incident triage, remote resolution, firmware upgrades and patching.
• Provide technical fault-finding and repairs across PC/Network based and analogue security systems.
• Provide technical expertise in PPM and repairs on CCTV systems, Lenel, IDS and Traka with PC based digital recorders.
• Understand fibre optic transmission systems, LAN/WAN networks and radio telemetry to remedy faults.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to business activities.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training and development.
• Operate according to business applications and processes (order submission, stock control, timesheet submission, job closing).
• Obtain client DV level clearance.
