Job summary

Reliance High-Tech Limited is seeking a Service Engineer to work across London and surrounding areas, providing fault finding and repairs for PC/Network CCTV and analogue security systems. The role involves handling fibre optic, LAN/WAN, and radio telemetry faults, with on-call responsibilities as part of the rota.

You will collaborate with teams to meet customer expectations, participate in training, and keep technical knowledge current to support high availability security solutions.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent proven experience.
• Knowledge of Access control / CCTV / Intercom / Intruder systems.
• Health and Safety knowledge.
• TCP/IP and network fundamentals knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in fault finding and repairs across PC/Network CCTV and analogue security systems.
• Repair CCTV systems and understand fibre optic transmission, LAN/WAN networks and radio telemetry to fix faults.
• Provide emergency solutions out of hours as per departmental rota.
• Collaborate with all parts of the business to deliver the agreed scope of works.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the business’ activities.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training provisions.
