Job summary

Reliance High-Tech is a leading UK security and safety technology specialist seeking a field-based security engineer. You will diagnose and repair PC/Network and analogue systems, including CCTV, access control and intercoms, with a strong focus on fault finding and high service standards.

You’ll work across multi-site installations, understand fibre optic, LAN/WAN and radio telemetry, and provide emergency solutions when required. A team-focused, proactive professional is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent proven experience.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Intercom systems.
• Familiarity with PC/Network based security software and fibre optic tech.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and network fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in fault finding and repairs across PC/Network based and analogue security systems with various software packages.
• Work with CCTV systems across small to multi-site installations; understand fibre optic transmission, LAN/WAN and radio telemetry to fix faults.
• Offer emergency solutions out of hours as per rota.
• Collaborate across the business to deliver the agreed scope and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in meetings and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training.
