Job summary

BHI Supplies Ltd, a specialist PPE and workwear supplier, is hiring a Business Development Manager in Rotherham. You will identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships, and promote the company’s PPE solutions.

Daily tasks include prospecting, meetings, proposals, and negotiations with a focus on exceeding sales targets. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate requirements, source the right solutions, and maintain an strong pipeline.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills including lead generation and closing deals.
• Experience in account management and client relationship building.
• Knowledge of PPE, workwear, or related industrial supply sectors.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both in person and via phone or video.
• Ability to analyze client requirements, interpret data or evidence, and support informed buying decisions.
• Strong self-organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with CRM, ERP systems and office software.
• Proven experience in B2B sales & business development; experience in industrial or safety products is required.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Salary £30k per annum + aggressive uncapped commission structure.
