Job summary

Drax in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Development Manager to expand the PPA pipeline, manage key TPI partners and drive gross margin growth across Drax’s products and services. This field-based role is based in Brighton and requires strong relationship skills and strategic thinking.

You will gather market intelligence, present at industry events, collaborate with import sales teams, and develop detailed account plans. A competitive package includes salary, commission scheme and company car.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of UK power market and PPA landscape.
• Proven experience in business development, account management, or partner management in energy.
• Strong relationship-building with TPIs, customers and stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
• Commercially astute with ability to grow pipelines and margins.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent the business externally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Third Party Intermediary (TPI) partners to grow the PPA pipeline and improve conversion rates.
• Gather structured market intelligence and TPI feedback to shape product development and propositions.
• Represent Drax at industry events, conferences and forums to raise brand awareness and promote PPA offerings.
• Collaborate with import sales teams and TPI networks to promote Drax’s PPA and renewable energy propositions.
• Identify and develop commercial opportunities that support gross margin growth across Drax’s products and services.
• Create and maintain detailed account plans for key TPIs and customers with a proactive growth strategy.
