Job summary

Darlington Borough Council is seeking a Performance Analyst and Power BI Technical Lead for maternity cover on a fixed-term basis up to one year. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting Power BI semantic models, reports, dataflows, and workspaces, with advisory duties across the Council.

You will lead the Power BI User Group, provide training, and collaborate with ICT to manage risks and improve access to Power BI and Fabric.

Qualifications

• Experience in Power BI, data modelling and dashboard development.
• Ability to design reports and semantic models for a council environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service, dataflows and workspace management.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist Power BI advice and technical support across the Council.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Power BI semantic models, reports, dataflows and workspaces.
• Lead Power BI User Group and provide bespoke guidance and training.
