Job summary

Morson Group, on behalf of a leading digital consultancy, is seeking a Power BI Data Analyst to build and refine data products and dashboards for a major Central Government department. Location is hybrid across Manchester or London, with 1 day on-site every two weeks.

You will work with complex datasets, develop data models, use SQL, and translate insights for non-technical stakeholders within Agile teams and GDS standards.

Central Government experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst / BI Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling and visualisation.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working within UK Central Government / public sector environments – essential.
• Experience working to GDS standards and within Agile delivery teams.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to non-technical audiences.

Rate: Up to £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 12 months +
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid – Manchester or London
On-site: 1 day every 2 weeks at your local hub
