Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support reporting and analytics across digital transformation initiatives in a London-based hybrid role.

You will design, develop and optimise Power BI reports and data models, work with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement DAX measures, data transformation with Power Query, and ensure data governance and security best practices while delivering timely insights.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with Dataverse, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform data sources for reporting.
• Strong data modelling and semantic layer development experience.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and complex calculations.
• Strong Power Query and data transformation experience.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of star schemas, dimensions and relationships.
• Ability to translate business needs into effective reports for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of dashboard design and data visualisation best practices.
• Experience administering Power BI Service environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
• Gather, analyse and document reporting requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into practical reporting solutions.
• Develop scalable semantic models and datasets using Power BI best practices.
• Create and optimise DAX measures and metrics.
• Prepare data from multiple sources using Power Query.
• Connect data from SQL databases, spreadsheets, APIs and corporate apps.
• Define KPIs and BI governance frameworks.
• Review and improve reports for usability and performance.
• Implement security controls including Row Level Security.
• Publish and manage reports and datasets in Power BI Service.
• Support data refresh processes and deployment activities.
• Document data models and reporting logic for maintenance.
• Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
