Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Business Intelligence Officer to join our team on a 23-month temporary basis, driving forward performance management across Community Operations and Fleet services.

You will analyse performance data, produce MI reports and dashboards, support service reviews and policy development, and assist with asset management and compliance monitoring while building BI systems for the council.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a performance/analytical/service improvement or policy related role.
• Strong IT skills, including experience of spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools.
• Experience of working with performance data, producing management information and supporting service improvement activities.
• Experience within a local authority, fleet services, transport operations or asset management environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret operational and performance data.
• Produce management information reports, dashboards and performance measures.
• Assist with service reviews, improvement projects and policy development.
• Support fleet asset management planning and performance monitoring.
• Assist with compliance monitoring and operator licence undertakings.
• Contribute to committee reports, briefings and performance returns.
• Support the development and maintenance of business intelligence systems and databases.
