Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Postgraduate Training Administrator to support the Postgraduate Medical Education team within the Student, Trainee and Placement Support Department.

The role involves coordinating GPST and IMT Teaching Programmes, organising resources for online sessions, and providing administrative support for induction, mandatory training and assessments for resident doctors.

Qualifications

• Good level of Education, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Evidence of ongoing personal development.
• Excellent IT skills including word and excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GPST and IMT Teaching Programmes with the Training Programme Directors and Postgraduate Coordinators.
• Set up online sessions, book Tutors, equipment and rooms as required.
• Order teaching materials and cater for the IMT Programme.
• Support events and provide administrative assistance to the team, including induction, mandatory training and assessments.
• Collaborate with the Student, Trainee and Placement Support Team and other departments within Workforce and Education.
