Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Postie to deliver letters and parcels in Tonypandy, with rotating shifts and some weekend work. You’ll sort at the office, then deliver by van or on foot, building relationships with customers. Full training and a uniform are provided, plus an iconic red van.

Qualifications

You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand. You'll be required to work one in three Sundays at Mid Rhondda Ganol Delivery Office working between 12:00/18:00 What you'll do

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)

• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
