Royal Mail Group in Uttoxeter is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels on a 30-hour week across Monday to Sunday, with a 07:45/15:00 schedule. This is a fixed-term role for 24 months, based at Uttoxeter Delivery Office.

You’ll receive full training, a uniform, and an iconic red Royal Mail van, and you will work outdoors, walking long distances and delivering in all weather. The role involves Saturday and Sunday work and a rotating rota.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Location: Uttoxeter Delivery Office, ST14 8HE

Job type: Fixed Term contract 24 months

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 30:00hours per week - working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday - 07:45/15:00*
