A prominent healthcare institution in Bath seeks a Portering Supervisor to oversee the provision of high-quality portering services across clinical and non-clinical departments. The role requires a positive attitude, strong customer focus, and the ability to manage staff effectively. The General Portering Services at RUH Bath are proudly provided by an In House Team of approximately 80. We are passionate about the work we do delivering a service which is 24/7 across the Hospital site to the 200+ clinical areas. We are looking to recruit a Portering Supervisor with a positive attitude and passion for providing a timely customer focused service for our patients - and our colleagues on site. You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic Portering Services Management Team in the logistics family of the Facilities group. There is plenty of support and resource for you to be able to perform your role.
You’ll need to be confident with computers, spreadsheets and IT systems (you will be trained) as well as writing emails and formatting letters. This role attracts enhancement rates for working in the evenings after 8pm, on weekends, bank holidays and night working.
