The Falmouth Hotel Ltd is seeking a Day Porter to join our team at The Falmouth (part of Cornwall Hotel Collection). This hands-on, varied role supports the smooth operation of the hotel, from guest greetings and luggage duties to setting up conference spaces and public areas.

You will work 25–35 hours per week with occasional night shifts and some weekend work; strong communication, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential as you collaborate with colleagues across departments to

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests and assist with enquiries and requests.
• Set up conference rooms and public areas as required.
• Assist with luggage, guest requests and general porterage duties.
• Prepare public areas and facilities to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Support other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Respond calmly and efficiently to any issues or emergencies.

We are currently seeking a reliable and flexible candidate to join our team as a Day Porter. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting the smooth operation of the hotel.

25-35 hours per week.

Please note, you will be required to cover holiday and night shifts on occasion
