Job summary

Valor Hospitality in the United Kingdom is seeking a Night Porter to join our team. You will assist late arrivals with luggage and travel arrangements, and support night operations to meet guest requests, including room amenities and Food & Beverages service.

Applicants should stay calm under pressure, be vigilant for guest safety, and flexible to adapt on shift as we prepare the hotel for the day ahead. Shifts include evenings and weekends with discussion at interview.

Job description

£28,932.80 per annum/ £13.91 per hour, 40 hours over any 5 days.

We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team.

Primarily you will be helping late arrivals with their luggage and travel arrangements. You will also will support the night operation to meet guest requests which includes additional room amenities and serving Food and Beverages.

The variety of this role need someone who can work calmly under pressure and be always vigilant to keep the hotel safe.

This role requires flexibility to adapt on shift and use initiative to prepare the hotel for the day ahead.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
