Job summary

The Falmouth Hotel is seeking a reliable Day Porter to support daily hotel operations. This varied, hands-on role covers guest assistance, public area upkeep and porterage tasks, with 25–35 hours per week and occasional night shifts.

You will work closely with front desk, housekeeping and events teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred; you should be flexible, team-oriented and have strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests and assist with enquiries and requests.

• Support other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Respond calmly and efficiently to issues or emergencies.

We are currently seeking a reliable and flexible candidate to join our team as a Day Porter. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting the smooth operation of the hotel.
25-35 hours per week.
Please note, you will be required to cover holiday and night shifts on occasion
