Job summary

Seaham Hall is seeking a Porter to join the vibrant team at the luxury hotel on the Durham coast. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week with weekend and bank holiday cover, and requires applicants to be over 25 due to car insurance for valet parking.

You will provide quality customer care to guests on arrival, work collaboratively with the reception and operations teams, and uphold the hotel’s 5-star standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled with hospitality experience (minimum 1 year)
• Age must be over 25 due to car insurance requirements

Salary:£12.71 per hour (depending on experience & to be discussed at interview)
Hours: 24 hours a week plus holiday cover(Part-Time), including weekends & bank holidays.
Relationships:General Manager, Operations Manager, Reception team

We are seeking to appoint a Porter to join our vibrant team in providing quality customer care for our guests when they arrive at the Hotel.

Due to insurance requirements for valeting parking guest cars, applicants must be over the age of 25.

The ideal candidate

• Being a 'multi-skilled' individual who has previous hospitality experience - minimum x1 year
• Due to car insurance purposes, the successful candidate must be over the age of 25
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered
• Computer literate and a good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft systems
• Ability to effectively interact with management, staff and guests in a professional manner
• Be a team player as well as an individual worker
• To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times
• Must have transport
