Job summary

The Blakeney Hotel is a four-star, 64-bedroom family-run property on the North Norfolk coast. We seek a friendly porter to create a welcoming guest experience and maintain a clean environment across front-of-house areas.

Role includes greeting guests, assisting with luggage, serving afternoon teas, and handling queries to exceed expectations. Straight shifts on a permanent basis, in Blakeney, Norfolk.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Polite, courteous and positive attitude is essential.
• High standard of personal presentation is required.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests with refreshments in the bar, sitting rooms, or terrace.
• Assist guests with their luggage and queries to meet their needs.
• Ensure front-of-house areas are clean and presentable; assist with outside areas.
• Serve afternoon teas and support other hotel duties as required.

The Blakeney Hotel is an award winning, four star, 64 bedroom, privately owned and family run hotel located in an unrivalled position on the Quay in Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team of Hotel Porters to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, whilst maintaining a clean and presentable environment for our guests to enjoy.

Roleofthe Porter:

• Greetingand serving guests refreshments, whether in the bar, sitting rooms, or outside on the terrace overlooking the Quay.
• Assisting guests with their luggage.
• Dealing with guests' queries and ensuring guests' needs are met, or exceeded, at every opportunity.
• Serving afternoon teas.
• Ensuring the front of house areas are kept clean and tidy.. Assisting with the cleaning and presentation of outside areas.
• Assisting in other areas of the hotel, as required.

Role would suit candidate with:

• Apolite, courteous and positive attitude.. A friendly, courteous and helpful nature.
• Experience in hospitality (preferred)
• A high standard of personalpresentation.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.

WorkingHours:

Straight shifts covering early (7am-3.30pm) mid (10am-6.30pm) and late (3.30pm-11pm) including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
