Job summary

Haven Holidays is seeking a Trainee Lifeguard to join our team in Scotland. The role offers full-time, part-time, or seasonal hours with an hourly pay rate of £12.71. You will learn lifeguard skills, monitor pool safety, and help guests enjoy a safe, fun experience.

No prior lifeguard experience is required as training is provided; a friendly, alert, and service-oriented attitude is essential, with availability for weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn the lifeguard ropes,we’llteach you how to handle everything from pool safety to first aid, soyou’reready for anything!
• You’llkeep an eye on swimmers, respond quickly to any incidents, and ensure a safe, fun environment for all.
• Spread the fun providing excellent customer service,assistingguests with inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• PreviousLifeguard experience is valued but not essential; we provide training.
• Ready to learn, stay alert and respond confidently in any situation.
• Friendly and approachable attitude withgood communicationskills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Proficient in swimming

• Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds.
• Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
• Tread water for 30 seconds.
• Surface dive to the floor of the pool.
• Climb out unaided withoutaladderorstepsand where the pool design permits.

This opportunity requires the new candidate to undergo, and satisfactorily complete, an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
