Northumbria Police is seeking a Mobile Communications Technician in Ponteland to deliver and support mobile communications technologies, including radios, smartphones and related equipment. You will configure devices, diagnose faults, installations, and contribute to projects to keep communications secure and fit for purpose.

This part-time, 18.5 hours per week, fixed-term post with a 12-month secondment is based at Ponteland Police Station.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain radios and mobile devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Support technology refresh and deployment programmes.
• Provide technical advice to users and stakeholders.
