Job Description:

We are seeking a PMO Planning and Resourcing Manager for a leading client based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will oversee resource management across all ongoing and planned engagements, including forecasting financials, gross profit, and expenditure reports for the PMO team and other practices within the organization.

Key skills and responsibilities include:

• Experience in best practice principles for resource and portfolio management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of enforcing standards diplomatically and building relationships.
• Data analysis skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership.
• Attention to detail with analytical and insight-providing capabilities.
• Excellent scheduling and planning skills, with logical analysis of changes.
• Proficiency in analytics tools, D365, and resource management software.
• Experience in PMO, finance, and resource management for change portfolios and programs.
• Experience managing direct reports, setting objectives, and conducting reviews and appraisals.
• Ability to work with multiple resource teams and third parties.
• Collaboration with Talent and People Practice teams for staff training and hiring.
• Keeping updated on resource management trends and best practices.
• Creating accurate analytical reports for budgets, forecasts, pipelines, and schedules.
• Providing MI for weekly and monthly planning, change, operations, and governance reports.
• Supporting management and executive teams with operational information.
