PMO Planning and Resourcing Manager – Birmingham

We are seeking a PMO Planning and Resourcing Manager for a leading client based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will oversee the management of supply and demand of resources across all ongoing and planned engagements. This role includes forecasting financials, gross profit, and actual expenditure reports for our PMO team and other practices within the organization.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

1. Experience in best practice principles for resource management and portfolio management.
2. Proficient stakeholder management skills, capable of enforcing standards diplomatically while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Skilled in data analysis and able to present complex information concisely to senior leadership.
4. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to provide analysis and insights.
5. Strong scheduling and planning skills, with the ability to analyze implications of changes logically and concisely.
6. Proficient in analytics tools, D365, and resource management software.
7. Experience in PMO, finance, and resource management for change portfolios and programmes.
8. Experience managing direct reports, setting objectives, conducting reviews, and performance appraisals; collaborative teamwork and decision-making skills.
9. Ability to work with multiple resource teams and third parties.
10. Collaborate with Talent Managers and People Practice for staff training and hiring.
11. Stay updated on resource management trends and best practices.
12. Create accurate analytical reports to manage project budgets, forecasts, pipelines, resourcing, and schedules.
13. Provide MI for weekly and monthly reports on planning, change, operations, and governance.
14. Support management and executive teams with quality information for operational decisions.
