Arco Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Plumbing & Heating Assistant Branch Manager to support daily operations and drive sales at our Plumbing & Heating branch. Salary is up to £35,000 DOE with a bonus, and you will work closely with the Branch Manager to deliver excellent service.

This role offers a clear progression path into Branch Manager, with a focus on customer service, stock control, and efficient branch operations in a fast-paced trade environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a plumbing & heating merchant environment.
• Senior sales, supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong sales and customer service background.
• Good knowledge of plumbing & heating products.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in the day-to-day running of the branch
• Assist in achieving branch sales and profitability targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers
• Deliver high levels of customer service and resolve customer queries effectively
• Assist with stock control, merchandising and inventory management
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Handle cash management and branch administration duties
• Work with suppliers and internal departments to maintain stock availability
• Step into the Branch Manager role during periods of absence

Out client is looking for a motivated and customer focused Plumbing & Heating Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily operations and sales of the Plumbing & Heating branch.

Working closely with the Plumbing & Heating Branch Manager, you will help drive sales, maintain excellent customer service standards and ensure efficient branch operations.
