Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a skilled professional to join its plot sales group within the larger real estate team in Manchester. You will handle plot sales for developer clients, issue contracts packs, manage exchanges, and oversee related registrations and SDLT processes.

The role also involves opening files, preparing bills, and potentially supporting site set up documents and deeds of easement. A year of conveyancing experience is preferred, and a law degree or equivalent is

Qualifications

• Around a year of conveyancing or plot sales experience preferred.
• Law degree, LPC or CILEX qualification helps but is not essential.
• Good client care, organised and detail minded.
• Confident with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Handle plot sales for developer clients within the real estate team.
• Issue contract packs from standard documents and exchange of contracts.
• Manage part exchange purchases and Land Registry applications.
• Process SDLT returns and searches.
• Open files and prepare bills; assist with site set up documents, contracts and deeds of easement and covenant.

A national top 50 law firm with a large new build and plot sales team acting for housebuilders.

The role

You will handle plot sales for developer clients, working within a wider real estate team.

Work includes issuing contract packs from standard documents, exchange of contracts, part exchange purchases, Land Registry applications, SDLT returns and searches.

You will also open files, prepare bills and may help with site set up documents, contracts and deeds of easement and covenant.

What you will need
