Job summary

Sky is seeking a Platform Controller to join the Platform Control team in Content eXperience & Distribution. You will be the first-line technical support ensuring Sky’s broadcast content is reliably delivered across TV platforms and apps.

Training will be provided to diagnose faults and restore service, with potential collaboration across international sites in Munich and Milan. You’ll work in a dynamic environment, handling monitoring, incident management, and handovers while maintaining

• Solid IT skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Excellent communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues quickly.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Minimize downtime by working onsite at Osterley to reduce incident impact.
• Monitor and diagnose platform issues using monitoring tools.
• Manage incidents and escalate to appropriate support departments per procedures.
• Maintain ownership with accurate updates and resolution details.
• Coordinate proactive maintenance and handovers, including channeling communications.
