Job summary

Sky UK Limited is looking for a Broadcast Production Engineering support engineer to maintain and troubleshoot live and post‑production facilities at our Osterley site. You’ll support graphics systems, data workflows, and a range of broadcast technology across flagship channels.

You’ll work shifts in a 7-day pattern, handling incidents, proactive maintenance, and on‑premises plus cloud infrastructure. Knowledge of IP, SMPTE standards, and broadcast systems will be essential.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Broadcast Engineering, Media Technologies, or similar.
• Understanding of both traditional and IP/Cloud broadcast solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive first-line support to Sky’s TV Production, Graphics and Post Production Facilities.
• Work a regular shift pattern on-site to keep broadcasts running smoothly.
• Perform fault finding on hardware and software across broadcast systems.
• Create and update tickets for tasks and drive them to resolution.
• Learn new broadcasting technologies and participate in proactive maintenance.
