Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting ambitious, commercially driven Sales Executives for an established construction equipment dealership in the West Midlands.

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy selling, building relationships and winning new business.

This isn't about finding someone who wants a comfortable basic salary and an easy territory. It's about finding someone with the drive and confidence to generate opportunities, close deals and earn substantial commission.

The Earning Opportunity

Our client offers a basic salary dependent on experience, with a preference for rewarding successful salespeople through an uncapped commission structure.

• Basic salary typically between £30,000 and £55,000, depending on experience.
• Uncapped commission of 10-15% on self-generated sales, subject to the agreed commission scheme.
• Commission becomes payable once the relevant base salary threshold has been covered.
• Genuine historical examples of high commission earnings, including a £20,000 commission payment in a single month.

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing sales opportunities across the construction equipment and heavy plant market.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively identifying and winning new customers.
• Selling construction plant, machinery and associated equipment.
• Developing relationships with contractors, plant hire businesses, groundworks companies and civil engineering organisations.
• Building your own pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Visiting customers, understanding their equipment requirements and presenting suitable solutions.
• Preparing quotations and negotiating deals.
• Developing repeat business and long-term customer relationships.
• Managing sales activity and maintaining a strong focus on achieving results.

Who We're Looking For

You could be:

• An experienced construction plant or machinery salesperson.
• A sales executive from commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment or plant hire.
• A successful field sales professional looking for a more rewarding commission structure.
• A hungry business developer with a proven ability to prospect and close new business.

You’ll need to demonstrate:

• A genuine appetite for new business development.
• Confidence approaching customers and generating your own opportunities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to close sales.
• A full UK driving licence.

Experience in construction equipment would be advantageous, but strong transferable sales experience will also be considered.
