Job summary

Holcim UK is launching a brand-new facility and seeks a hands-on production operator to help run and maintain essential processing operations. You will work alongside a supportive team and play a central role in establishing day-to-day workflow from day one.

You will operate fixed production machinery, manage weighbridge duties, and support maintenance activities while upholding safety and housekeeping standards. This is a hands-on, weekday role with a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a close-knit team with clear communication.
• Willingness to balance maintenance tasks with weighbridge duties.
• Proactive approach to daily tasks and problem solving.
• Strong record-keeping and ticketing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate fixed production machinery (primary crusher and wash plant) to ensure high-quality output.
• Manage weighbridge duties, issue documentation, and greet hauliers/visitors entering/leaving site.
• Carry out daily plant safety checks and assist engineering teams during servicing or breakdowns.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping across all areas to ensure a safe, clean workplace.
• Monitor and log production data, stoppages and inventories accurately.
