Job summary

Holcim UK is launching a brand-new facility and seeks a hands-on Production Operator to help run essential processing operations from day one. You will operate fixed production machinery, manage weighbridge duties, and support maintenance and safety checks within a collaborative team.

Join a role that balances mechanical plant operation with customer-facing duties, with training provided. The site runs Monday to Friday, 06:30–17:00, offering a pathway for development within Holcim’s expanding UK

Qualifications

Experience in Quarrying or fixed processing machinery is welcome, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Operate fixed production machinery, including the primary crusher and wash plant, to ensure high-quality material output.
Manage weighbridge duties accurately, issue documentation, and welcome hauliers and visitors entering and leaving the site.
Carry out daily plant safety checks, report maintenance needs, and assist engineering teams during servicing or breakdowns.
Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a safe, clean, hazard-free environment.
Monitor and log production data, stoppages, and inventory accurately.
