Job summary

DP World are recruiting an experienced Plant Manager to lead the Operations team at our Minworth facility. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the site, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable delivery of operations while meeting customer expectations and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, or a similar complex environment.
• Experience managing site performance across safety, quality, productivity, cost and people.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness with budgets and business plans.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement, Lean, productivity gains and waste reduction.
• Strong leadership and people management, building high-performing teams.
• Excellent customer and stakeholder management at senior level.
• Experience in automotive Tier 1 environments would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental management systems advantageous.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day and strategic management of the plant to meet objectives.
• Ensure customer expectations and SLAs are met or exceeded.
• Present performance, KPIs, and improvement initiatives to customers and senior management.
• Develop and deliver the site’s business plan and annual budget.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and environment.
• Embed a continuous improvement culture and lead Lean initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Lead the site’s management team and develop talent.
• Promote positive employee relations and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with Business Development to identify opportunities.
