Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is working with a large plant and tool hire company nationwide to recruit a Hire Desk Controller in Wolverhampton. The role covers handling hire enquiries by phone, email and online ordering, checking machine availability and ensuring records are up to date, and coordinating with engineering and transport to deliver machines to sites.

Ideal candidates will have experience in plant or tool hire, strong MS Office and computer skills, and good communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Plant, Powered access, Tool or Material Handling sectors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take hire enquiries via telephone, email and online ordering system.
• Check availability of machines and keep status up to date.
• Coordinate with engineering and transport teams to ensure correct machines are ready and delivered to sites.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide a helpful point of contact for depot enquiries.
