Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions, a leading UK equipment hire provider, is looking for a Customer Hire Controller to support the Kier account. You’ll coordinate hire requirements, process on- and off-hire requests, and raise purchase orders and hire contracts using internal systems, liaising with suppliers and customer sites to arrange the supply of plant and equipment.

You’ll monitor deliveries, resolve issues and escalate where needed, ensure supplier paperwork is accurate, and maintain strong working

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Hire Desk, Plant Hire, Customer Service or Administration role is desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Process customer on- and off-hire requests accurately and efficiently.
• Raise purchase orders and hire contracts using internal systems.
• Liaise with suppliers and customer sites to arrange supply of plant and equipment.
• Monitor deliveries, resolve issues and escalate where necessary.
• Ensure supplier paperwork relating to hires is accurate and complete.
