Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a motivated administrator to join the Technical Services team for a 12-month fixed-term post supporting planning, building control and street naming and numbering services.

You will register and process applications, keep records accurate and provide clear advice to colleagues and applicants, with a strong customer-facing focus and opportunities to learn regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Experience of technical or administrative support, ideally in planning, building control or related regulatory service.
• Experience handling complex data and case management tasks.
• Strong technical and administrative skills.

Responsabilités

• Register and process applications and requests accurately and efficiently.
• Support planning, building control and street naming and numbering services.
• Keep applications, records and data accurate, accessible and up to date.
• Provide technical and administrative support across the council's regulatory functions.
• Give clear advice and support to colleagues and applicants.
