Job summary

Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a Regulatory Services Assistant to join the Public Protection Service in Kendal. You will support the Commercial Protection and Environmental Protection Teams with inspections coordination and administrative tasks, helping to keep communities safe.

You’ll manage your own caseload, perform accurate records, and assist officers on inspections while delivering high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have 5 GCSEs including English and Maths or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer focused, service delivery role and good admin skills.
• Ability to be accurate, detailed and professional with strong ICT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support officers on inspections and administrative tasks.
• Manage own caseload and document findings.
• Provide technical and administrative support for the service.
